In the first lesson, we were brief about the overall module. We also did one activity in group of five where we chose one topic from the options given. We split the five questions between us. Each one of us search for answer to one question, we then combine everything together. We would finish the activity faster as a group instead of doing by our own self. As an individual, we asked choose a research topic. We will need to apply the stuffs we had learnt onto the assignment given. My topic was: Effects of Global warming on the environment. I chose to work on this topic as I already got some basic knowledge from the Geography lesson during secondary. Now I would wish to learn and know more information about the topic I chose.

When I reach home, I read through the lecture note. Only then I knew what RSS stands for, and I started looking for more examples of RSS online. My impression of this module before I attend the lesson was that it would be an easy one, but after the briefing I found out actually there were a lot of things that I did not know. I have learnt few effective ways of getting information from the web today.
